The subtitle file is used where the subtitles are selected in the video player software.

After downloading the video of the Khan Academy course in the download center, for example, click the Show Downloaded button, expand the Khan_Academy folder and its sub-folders on the left side of the new window, all the way to the folder with MP4 files and VTT type files.

Click to select a vtt file in one language such as Teen_numbers_monkeys_en.vtt, then hold down the Ctrl key while clicking on a vtt file in another language such as Teen_numbers_monkeys_zh.vtt, so that the vtt file in both languages is selected, and then release the fingers of the keyboard and mouse.

Hold down the Ctrl key while quickly pressing the M key, then let go of all of them, and you will generate a bilingual subtitle file with both languages, such as Teen_numbers_monkeys.vtt.

In this way, where the subtitles are selected in the video player software, use the merged bilingual subtitles, and you can see the adjacent bilingual subtitles!

The _en and _zh in the file name represent the language codes, and the language descriptions corresponding to each language code are shown in the following table:

鼠标单击选中一种语言的vtt文件例如 Teen_numbers_monkeys_en.vtt ，然后按住Ctrl键的同时鼠标单击点另一种语言的vtt文件例如 Teen_numbers_monkeys_zh.vtt，这样就选中的两种语言的vtt文件，然后松开按键盘和按鼠标的指头，

按住Ctrl键的同时快速按一下M键，然后全部松手，就会生成同时含两种语言的双语对照字幕文件例如 Teen_numbers_monkeys.vtt。

这样视频播放器软件中选择字幕的地方使用合并后的双语对照字幕，就能看到紧紧相邻的双语对照字幕了！

文件名当中的 _en 和 _zh 代表各种语言代码，各种语言代码对应的语言说明请见下表：
